Jubilee Zoo in Shreveport offers a delightful seasonal experience for the whole family. During your visit, meet and feed friendly farm animals in the party barn. One of the most interesting, and certainly humane, attractions nearby is Chimp Haven in Shreveport. The 200-acre facility provides a home where chimps that have been subjected to medical testing can live out their lives in a natural setting. The sanctuary is not always open to the public, but they do have numerous special events and tours at designated times when you can visit these fascinating animals up close.
