Black-Owned Food Trucks
Several Black-owned food trucks can be found on the streets of Shreveport-Bossier. Louisiana Smoke House is ready to “meat you” on Jewella Avenue with fork-tender brisket and $20 slabs of ribs. Sho’ Nuff Soul Food & Catering has finger-licking fried and smothered pork chops and more. Food Network’s Great American Food Truck Race season 10 winners, NOLA Creations 504, can be found serving up New Orleans-style cuisine most weekdays in the parking lot of Drug Emporium. Candy Galore and More provides soups, sandwiches, and freshly baked goods for area neighborhoods.
Pro-tip: Hang out at Louisiana Daiquiri Café on Texas Avenue, where different food trucks are parked weekly.
