The area has two malls – Pierre Bossier Mall and Mall St. Vincent. It also offers the Louisiana Boardwalk Outlets along the banks of the riverfront in Bossier City. Where is Shreveport and Bossier City located?
Shreveport and Bossier City are joined by the Red River in the northwest corner of Louisiana about 20 miles east of Texas and about 35 miles south of Arkansas. Two interstate highways, I-20 and I-49, intersect in Shreveport. The Downtown Shreveport Visitor Center is located at 629 Spring Street, Shreveport, Louisiana 71101.
How bad is the traffic?
One of the great things about Shreveport and Bossier City is how easy it is to get around. With I-20 and I-49 running through the area, you’re just a few minutes from everywhere. In downtown and other areas, you can expect a very slight slow-down at rush hour, but even then, traffic moves at a steady pace.
